Depression is often solved by action, not analysis

Personal experience of worst depression being broken by writing, running, and building - in that order. Depression immobilizes, which accelerates time passing and deepens misery. Action interrupts the cycle. The body-first approach bypasses mental loops that analysis cannot reach.

When depressed, prioritize doing over understanding. The real inner work is outer work. Use your body more than your mind. Build things. Move. Create. Understanding can come later once momentum exists.
